Discover Ravana Falls

The Rawana Falls or Rawana Ella as called by the locals is a waterfall located in close proximity to the Rawana Cave. However, the waterfall which is quite visible from the Bandarawela-Wellawaya Road is called the “Bambaragama Ella”. These are connected waterfalls but only the Bambaragama Ella is visible on the highway. The waterfall is also visible on the train ride from Ella to Kithul Ella. The waterfall flows from the Bandarawela Hill Oya reservoir and may dry up during the dry season. So the best time to visit the place is during the monsoons.
